The Ride for HOPE (Hold On Pain Ends) is ONE80TC's major annual fundraising event and supports up to around 80 riders.
Founded by Phil Latz in 2001, he hoped to create a great cycling event focused on a great cause - helping turn around the lives of those who are caught in substance abuse and addiction.
Join us for our 21st year of the Ride for HOPE and be part of the solution to turning lives around.
The Ride for HOPE is locked in for May 7th and we are again heading up to Magenta Shores via Mangrove Mountain, where we will be staying overnight and holding our Riders Gala dinner.
The Ride for HOPE seeks to deliver a 5 star event to all our riders and volunteers.
To ensure we maintain this experience we are limiting registrations to 80 riders.

This year we are once again offering two alternate routes on Day 1.
The majority will travel approximately 155kms, via Berowra Waters and cutting across the south side of the lake.
For those chasing a bigger challenge, the extended loop includes a tad more climbing at closer to 180kms.
Registration includes all accommodation and logistical costs, including support crew, bike mechanics, catering, and more. Also includes a high quality Cinettica limited edition rider kit (knicks and jersey).
As a charity ride, all funds raised go to support the ONE80TC program.
Each rider is expected to reach a minimum fundraising target of $3000, with a goal of $5000.
To encourage the bigger target we have locked in a fundraising incentive that when you raise over $5000 you go into the draw to win a brand new Bianchi bike valued at over $5000. Other prizes on offer for a range of "achievements".
In the lead up to the event we encourage all riders to strongly consider having a consistent riding routine in place at least 12 weeks out from the event

Kicking off from Lynwood Country Club, with the rider call at 6:15 am, you check in your luggage and receive your complementary bacon & egg roll to fuel you up for the day ahead.
First peloton departs around 7:00am. Each peloton are supported by a lead and follow vehicle, roving support buses and roving bike mechanics.
Through out the course there will be corner is marked with directional arrows as well as road marshals who will cheer you on!
The ride is split into 3 seperate pelotons to accommodate different riders:
Lunch is served at Mangrove Mountain around 100kms in.
Also a physiotherapy tent will be set up to assist any niggling injuries picked up along the way.
Then after lunch we will head all the way to our accomodation at Magenta Shores where we finish the day's ride.
Friday night consists of the Riders and Volunteers gala dinner - a fun night, lots of laughs and some much needed sustenance.
