Rehabilitation & Aftercare

The Aftercare program is based at Greater West with outreach to Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury regions. ONE80TC provide one-on-one treatment with an Alcohol and Other Drugs counsellor or case worker, relapse prevention, assessment and aftercare for clients recovering from alcohol and other drug addictions or other life controlling issues.

The service involves intake, assessment, and treatment planning for a program of support over approximately 6 months. The aim of the program is to prevent relapse. Clients should have completed some form of rehabilitation or detoxification treatment prior to entering the program.

Self referrals are welcome as well as referrals from health professionals and others. This service is free of charge with weekly appointments for up to 6 months. Clients will complete a phone assessment and upon acceptance into the program their appointments will be booked in.

This community based program is designed to assist men and women (18+) through their journey of recovery. The program is ideal for those who have gained a level of sobriety, through either our rehab or any other rehab or detox programs or by personal effort; and seeking to maintain that recovery and be held accountable on their journey.

This program removes the barriers associated with residential programs so it is ideal for parents with children in their care, those who have work commitments or ex-prisoners to name a few and will receive the same level of care as the residential service. Services provided include Case working, AOD Counselling, Relapse Prevention, Harm Minimisation, Anger Management and Group therapy.

Caseworkers will make referrals to other agencies as required to support them finding work, housing and study or refer them to other AOD specialised services including: Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Mental Health or to ONE8OTC Residential Rehabilitation program as required.
